Sonic The Hedgehog #89 (IDW Publishing, $4.99, Evan Stanley): the likely potential first of Blackwood the Ermine, who welcomes Silver and Blaze into his castle under an air of civility that the description openly flags as a front. The gothic-mansion mystery kicks off the arc on the road to #100. High Priority tier here, and the IDW Sonic run has a track record of new-character debuts that the collector base chases. Shops carrying this series may want to review their order ladder.
Clootopia #1 (High-Vibrational Pirates, $4.99, Williams/Molina): the angle here is the unverified promo claim that this is the first comic book appearance of George Clooney, where a heartbroken fan hatches a legally ambiguous plan after Clooney announces his engagement. High Priority and Buzz flagged. The premise is built around the real-life Clooney name, so treat the "first appearance" promo language as the publisher's hook, not a confirmed key. Reader's call on this one.
Action Comics #1100 (DC Comics, $6.99, Various/Various): Joshua Williamson confirmed the return of General Zod in this landmark issue, with Waid, Campbell, and Slott also contributing across art from Sampere, Sook, Mora, and Meyer. The Zod beat is the spec event, not the issue number. Confirmed verification status, which keeps this off the rumor pile.

DCs Hawk-Girl Summer #1 (DC Comics, $9.99, Various/Various): a confirmed Jason Todd appearance is the signal in this anthology one-shot, alongside Catwoman, Grace Choi, Thunder, and the Female Furies across stories from Fitzmartin, Scott, Trujillo, and others. There is a 1:20 Yoshitani incentive here. Watch tier. The new villain plus the ratio variant are the two things to weigh on the order.

Street Fighter Masters Juri #1 (rumor-based) (Udon Entertainment, $4.99, Warren/Weldon): unconfirmed fan speculation centers on the identity of a new character, NeoJuri, and a possible M. Bison return. The solicit teases both, but neither is locked. Adam Warren writing a Juri one-shot is the verified part. The NeoJuri identity is the wildcard, so treat the spec accordingly.
Minor Arcana #17 (rumor-based) (Boom! Studios, $4.99, Jeff Lemire). No solicit text or confirmed spec event on this one, just Lemire writing and drawing his ongoing. Watch tier.
