Archie Comics 85th Anniversary Presents Archie American All Stars #1 (Archie Comics Publications, $4.99, Tania del Rio/Dan Parent, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore). Eternity Fields is the potential first here. The mystery girl shows up for the big soccer game and makes the girls' team unstoppable. That's more than a cameo. Foil variants are in the mix alongside the chase covers.
Catching Hell #1 (American Mythology Productions). Reggie Bannister from the Phantasm movies as a Hell-Tracer hunting renegade demons. That's the pitch. He's not a superhero, just a guy with grit and bad decisions working the supernatural beat. American Mythology has been building their horror line around licensed celebrity tie-ins.
Supernatural Special Castiel #1 (Dynamite Entertainment). First comic book appearance of Castiel is confirmed. The show wrapped but the character has staying power. Blind bag variant plus the standard 1:10 ratio means multiple chase covers.
Ordained #1 (Bad Idea). Sixth print on a Bad Idea book means the demand is there. Media adaptation rumors are unconfirmed but the Charlie Adlard 1:20 virgin keeps moving units. Bad Idea doesn't typically run this many printings unless the secondary market is supporting it.
Amazing Spider-Man #31 (Marvel Comics, $4.99, Joe Kelly). Spore is the potential first villain here. Teased in the solicits alongside the Aunt May reveal. Joe Kelly on Spider-Man carries weight with completionists. The 1:25 German Peralta is the chase.

Flash Gordon #17 (Mad Cave Studios, $4.99, Dan Abnett/Manuel Garcia). Both Flash and Dane Albright crash land on the Big Dumb Object planet. Rival parties working together against new enemies. Dan Abnett knows space opera. The variant covers are where the spec attention landed.
Uncanny X-Men #30 (Marvel Comics, $4.99, Gail Simone). Alien invasion storyline with rumors of a fake-out twist. Potential first appearance connected to the invasion. The 1:50 ratio signals Marvel expects strong orders. Gail Simone's X-Men work carries audience.
