MARVEL THIS WEEK

99 titles | 2 new #1s | 11 variants | 3 reprints | 0 ratios | FOC: July 13 | On Sale: August 12-26 (some titles ship later)

Marvel's 99-title slate anchors on the milestone Amazing Spider-Man #1000, with the rest of the count distributed across ongoing line chapters and two launches. The docket runs 11 variants against zero ratios, so the incentive structure sits entirely with cover counts rather than incentive tiers. The Spider-office milestone pulls the most volume, and the horror-tinged corners of the line fill out the slate with Infernal Hulk and the Venom continuation.

Amazing Spider-Man #1000
Amazing Spider-Man #1000 (Marvel Comics). The milestone issue is Marvel's structural anchor this week, carrying 24 covers and the largest creative roster on the slate. Spider-Man faces a new villain named Ravage, with contributions spanning Noah Hawley's comic debut, a Frank Miller and Peach Momoko pairing, and a returning Stuart Immonen and Brian Michael Bendis team.
Venom #260
Venom #260 (Marvel Comics). The issue continues the Dylan Brock thread that ran through his encounter with the Eventuality after Carnage killed him. The five answers he was given point toward a dark future that arrives in this chapter.
Infernal Hulk #10
Infernal Hulk #10 (Marvel Comics). Bruce Banner is the heroes' last option against Infernal Hulk as it closes in on New York. Banner and Doctor Voodoo risk their lives against the enemy, with the skinwalker Lycana, Charlie Tidwell, joining the fray.
DC THIS WEEK

51 titles | 1 new #1 | 4 variants | 4 reprints | 1 ratio | FOC: July 13 | On Sale: August 5 (some titles ship later)

DC's 51-title slate leans Bat-heavy at the top, with Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimenez's Batman #12 and a facsimile of Detective Comics #27 both landing this week. The docket runs four variants and a single ratio, with the incentive structure resting on one cover. The rest of the count fills out through the JSA line and a returning Vertigo crime property.

Batman #12
Batman #12 (DC Comics, $5.99, Matt Fraction/Jorge Jimenez). The Fraction and Jimenez run carries DC's Bat-line this week, with six of the world's deadliest killers descending on Gotham at once. As Batman races to uncover who set the plan in motion, a gift from the late Alfred Pennyworth brings a new ally to the Bat-Family.
JSA #22
JSA #22 (DC Comics, $3.99, Jeff Lemire/Diego Olortegui). Jeff Lemire and Diego Olortegui pick up after the Spectre's wrath ravaged the team. One hero steps up to take on the mantle of the Spectre, with the question of whether they can control its fury driving the issue.

DC's only ratio this week: 1:25 Batman #12.

IMAGE THIS WEEK

52 titles | 2 new #1s | 11 variants | 0 reprints | 12 ratios | FOC: July 13 | On Sale: July 29 - August 26 (some titles ship later)

Image's 52-title slate leans on creator-owned volume, with 12 ratio covers and two launches driving the incentive structure. The return of Stjepan Šejić's Death Vigil as a new #1 headlines the week, and the docket's steepest incentives in Image's slate sit on that launch alongside Chachu #1 and Mask #3. Ongoing arcs from Rogue Sun and That Texas Blood fill out the count.

Death Vigil (2026) #1
Death Vigil (2026) #1 (Image Comics, $5.99, Stjepan Sejic/Stjepan Sejic). The launch is Image's headline creator-owned return this week, carrying 7 covers and a 1:50 ratio. Šejić brings back the story of modern-age Death Knights locked in a war against the primordial Elder Gods, where the only catch is you have to die first before joining the fight.
Rogue Sun #35
Rogue Sun #35 (Image Comics, $3.99, Ryan Parrot, Nick Cotton/Abel, Bruno Frenda). The issue closes the current story arc. Hellbent killed Rogue Sun's friend Reggie, Rogue Sun killed Hellbent's father, and the grudge match between them arrives here with consequences for the future of the book.
That Texas Blood #22
That Texas Blood #22 (Image Comics, Chris Condon/Jacob Phillips). Joe Bob and Wilson push further into the chaos unleashed at the Allison Ranch. Travis Terrill wrestles with personal and professional demons as the arc continues.

Image's three highest ratios this week: 1:50 Chachu #1, 1:50 Death Vigil (2026) #1, 1:50 Mask #3.
