Dylan Brock becomes Venom. 2nd Printing.
Venom Vol. 4 #35 is the final issue of Donny Cates' celebrated run on the series, the book that closes out a story four years in the making and hands the Venom symbiote to Dylan Brock. The issue marks Dylan Brock's ascension as the new Venom, a story-event that reshapes the character's legacy going forward. This copy is the second printing, released as demand for the issue outpaced the initial run.
Cates launched Venom Vol. 4 in 2018 with a mythology-expanding approach that redefined the symbiote's origins, its connection to the Klyntar, and Eddie Brock's place in a cosmic conflict. Issue #35 is where that arc lands, and Dylan Brock stepping into the role is its central payoff. Writers Donny Cates and Phillip Kennedy Johnson share the credit on this issue.
