War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1 is the 2019 Marvel Comics series launch written by Greg Pak, with interior art by Gang Hyuk Lim. Spun out of the War of the Realms event, the issue assembles a new lineup of Asian and Asian-American heroes to hold the line against the forces of Muspelheim in the Pacific Rim. It is the first appearance of Luna Snow, Wave, and Aero, as well as the first appearance of Crescent and Io, making the issue one of the most consequential character debuts in recent Marvel history for this corner of the universe.
This is the Cover C Connecting Realm variant, with cover art by Giuseppe Camuncoli. The connecting realm format places this cover as one panel in a larger panoramic image across the variant cover set for the issue. Camuncoli's cover features Silk, Shang-Chi, and Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) among the assembled cast. Sword Master's first cover appearance also occurs here, on this connecting variant.
Greg Pak built the series around characters who had seen little prior spotlight in Marvel publishing, and the concentrated number of debut appearances in a single issue gives #1 an unusual density of firsts. The issue ties directly into the War of the Realms crossover event while standing on its own as an introduction to a new team configuration.
