Venom Vol. 4 #7 is the first cameo appearance of Dylan Brock, Eddie Brock's son, making it the key issue of the Donny Cates run from the moment it shipped. Cates and artist Iban Coello were building the mythology that would eventually define modern Venom, and issue #7 drops a character whose presence would ripple through everything that followed in the run. The regular cover is by Ryan Stegman, the series' main cover artist, whose design work established the visual identity of this volume from the start.
This is a raw copy of the regular Cover A edition, the standard first printing. Cates' 2018 relaunch is the run that introduced Knull, reframed the symbiote's origin, and gave Eddie Brock's story new dimension; #7 sits near the beginning of that buildup, before the run's biggest reveals, but its importance comes from what Dylan Brock becomes in later issues. For collectors building the Cates run or targeting key first appearances in the modern Venom canon, this is the issue that matters.
