Dylan Brock becomes Venom. Patrick Gleason trade variant cover.
Venom Vol. 4 #35 marks the 200th issue of the Venom title line, landing as the conclusion of Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's run on the series. The oversized 96-page issue brings that era to a close with the story event in which Dylan Brock becomes Venom, a significant shift in the mantle that collectors of the Cates run have flagged as the defining moment of this chapter of the character's history.
This is Cover K, the Patrick Gleason trade variant. Gleason's cover presents an alternative to the main cover lineup for this milestone issue, and as a variant for one of the more documented story events of the Vol. 4 run, it sits alongside the standard covers as a distinct piece for anyone building out a complete Gleason or Venom cover collection. The 200th issue designation and the Cates/Stegman finale context make this a natural anchor for a run of the Vol. 4 series.
