The first appearance of Dylan Brock as Venom. Ryan Stegman regular Cover A.
Venom (2018) #35 is the landmark 200th issue of the series and the final chapter of Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's celebrated run on the title. The regular Cover A is by Ryan Stegman, the artist who defined the visual language of this entire volume, and the cover itself became one of the most-talked-about images of the run. At 85 pages the book is a genuine oversized special, packing in contributions from a roster of artists including Kev Walker, Danilo Beyruth, Ron Lim, Guiu Vilanova, Gerardo Sandoval, and Mark Bagley alongside Stegman himself, plus a gallery of all 200 Venom covers.
The issue marks the first appearance of Dylan Brock as Venom, a story event with lasting consequences for the character and the symbiote mythology Cates built across this run. It also establishes Eddie Brock's new powers, including omnipresence and symbiote hive control, closing the Cates era on a note that reshaped the entire Venom corner of the Marvel universe. Marvel promoted it as both a milestone celebration and a definitive endpoint for one of the most discussed Venom runs in the character's history.
This is a raw, ungraded first printing of the regular Ryan Stegman Cover A, offered in the condition shown in the photos. As the standard cover of a key issue at the conclusion of a major creative run, it is the version most associated with the story event it contains.
Squarebound oversized format; approximately 85 pages with a gallery of all 200 Venom covers.
