VC246 from the 2022 Star Wars Vintage Collection, depicting the Mandalorian Super Commando Captain as seen in The Clone Wars Mandalore arc. When Darth Maul overthrew the New Mandalorians and seized control of Mandalore, his followers modified their armor to reflect their allegiance to the Nightbrother — adopting a red and black color scheme and fashioning Zabrak-style horns atop their helmets in his image. The captain rank is distinguished by spiked shoulder armor added to the standard Super Commando body. A retool and repaint of the 2022 TVC Mandalorian Super Commando (VC243), with an all-new portrait and all-new spiked shoulder armor attachment. Both figures released within 30 days of each other. The updated ball-socket hip joints on this sculpt provide significantly better poseability than the earlier ball-jointed hip style. 26 points of fully premium modern articulation throughout. Collector note: the helmet is not removable; the horns are part of the sculpted portrait design.
