Star Wars The Legacy Collection #BD21 Count Dooku, Holographic, Hasbro '08

BD21 from the 2008 Star Wars Legacy Collection blue phase, depicting Count Dooku as a holographic transmission — referencing his appearance via hologram in Chapter 16 of Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars micro-series Volume 1 (the Ilum arc). A rework of the 2005 ROTS Sith Evolutions Count Dooku sculpt, with the entire figure — body, cape, curved-hilt lightsaber, and soft-goods skirt — cast entirely in translucent blue plastic. No paint applications on the figure itself except minimal detail on the lightsaber blade. The soft-goods skirt has a glittering blue quality that catches light nicely; the rigid plastic cape was drawn from the 2003 Screen Scenes mold rather than matching the soft-goods material. A notable quirk of the translucent casting is that the internal joint mechanisms are partially visible through the plastic. 22 points of super-articulation.
