Figure #28 from the 2002 Star Wars Saga Series Phase I line, depicting Jedi Master Mace Windu during the Battle of Geonosis in Attack of the Clones. A Collection 1 figure with an obtrusive spring-loaded action feature: pressing a button on the figure's back swings the right arm and twists the upper torso simultaneously to simulate a lightsaber slashing motion. The feature dominates the sculpt and significantly limits meaningful posing. The figure also has difficulty standing unassisted. The standout positive is the lightsaber accessory — it has a real metal hilt with a magnet embedded for the "Force attraction" play feature, paired with a removable purple blade. The metal hilt is exceptionally detailed for the era. On the downside, the head sculpt is widely considered one of the least successful Samuel L. Jackson likenesses Hasbro produced, with a contorted expression that reads more comedic than battle-ready. This was the character's first modern 3.75" release in his Episode II Arena Battle appearance.
