Star Wars Saga Collection #062 Battle Droids, Hasbro '06

Figure #062 in The Saga Collection — a two-pack of B1 Battle Droids given Kashyyyk jungle camouflage treatment, designed as companion pieces to the Kashyyyk Super Battle Droid (SAGA 061) released in the same wave. Like their wave mate, these droids are based on a Hasbro concept rather than any film appearance, first introduced through the Star Wars Unleashed Battle Packs line. B1 Battle Droids do briefly appear in the Kashyyyk amphibious assault sequence in Revenge of the Sith, lending some legitimacy to the concept. Each droid has a unique camouflage pattern — a deliberate choice by Hasbro to ensure the two-pack offers truly distinct figures. The sculpt originates from the 2002 Droid Factory Assembly Line Deluxe set, retooled here without the magnet. Heads and backpacks are both removable — the backpack has a notch for storing the blaster. Collector note: a running change variant exists, with earlier releases having a smoother dirt application and later versions having a more natural bumpy texture. One display stand is shared between both figures. Includes a miniature hologram figure.
