Star Wars ROTS Covert Ops Clone Trooper, Hasbro '05

A StarWarsShop exclusive released in November 2005 to celebrate the home video release of Revenge of the Sith, the Covert Ops Clone Trooper is a Hasbro concept figure with no direct film or Expanded Universe source — and one of the most visually striking clones in the entire ROTS line. Hasbro took the super-articulated Clone Trooper III-41 sculpt and cast it in a glittering metallic gray plastic with a gray camouflage pattern applied to the helmet top, shoulder armor, chest, and lower legs. The effect is subtle but immediately eye-catching, especially in direct light. The figure comes with a DC-15 blaster pistol and a DC-15 blaster rifle, both of which fit naturally in the hands. A cult favorite among ROTS clone collectors, this exclusive proved popular enough that Hasbro brought it back as a Saga Legends release years later via a Fans' Choice poll — a testament to how well-received the original was.
