The Flashback Photo edition of R2-D2 features a spring-loaded launching lightsaber housed in the dome — a callback to the 1985 POTF pop-up lightsaber figure, now updated with a full-length saber. The launching mechanism is activated via a button, firing the saber from R2's dome. Note: the dome does not rotate on this release, as rotation would disengage the lightsaber mechanism. Presented on the Flashback Photo green card, which reveals a prequel-era character image when the tab is pulled.
