Star Wars 30th Anniversary Collection #08 Super Battle Droid, Hasbro '07

The first collector-grade Super Battle Droid in the 3.75-inch line, this 30th Anniversary release corrects years of undersized, under-articulated versions with an accurate scale, improved sculpt, and articulated knees. Based on the Invisible Hand sequence from Revenge of the Sith — specifically the scene where R2-D2 douses Super Battle Droids in oil and ignites them with his leg jets — the figure includes translucent flame accessories that peg directly into slots in the chest, depicting the droid engulfed mid-battle. These flames are also designed to physically connect with the R2-D2 figure from the same wave (#04), locking onto the droid's torso to recreate the full scene. One of the better cross-figure interactions Hasbro executed in the line. Includes the exclusive silver commemorative coin included with all 2007 Wave figures.
