A Fan's Choice winner voted in by collectors via the Rebelscum community poll, R4-I9 is one of the R4 series astromech droids stationed aboard the Death Star in A New Hope. The R4 units are simpler and cheaper than the R2 series, deployed throughout the Imperial battle station for general maintenance and repair. Hasbro rendered this release in a striking all-black paint scheme, though collectors should note the screen-accurate color is actually a dark navy blue with black and silver details — a known Hasbro paint call on both releases of this mold. Still a popular and seldom-made Death Star droid for any Imperial-themed display. Includes the exclusive silver commemorative coin included with all 2007 Saga Legends figures.
