1st full appearance of Ninja Spawn. Bill Sienkiewicz variant cover.
Spawn #301 arrived in October 2019 as a genuine milestone: the longest-running creator-owned comic book in history, surpassing the record previously held by Cerebus. Todd McFarlane returned to pencil and ink for the issue and assembled a roster of artists who shaped the series across its run, including Greg Capullo, Jason Shawn Alexander, Clayton Crain, Jerome Opeña, and Francesco Mattina. The result is a single issue that reads as a celebration of nearly three decades of Spawn.
Cover M is a Bill Sienkiewicz variant, one of the multiple artist covers released for this milestone issue. Sienkiewicz brings his distinctive painterly style to the cover, set apart from the separately issued Cover N virgin version. The issue features a large cast drawn from the full history of the Spawn mythology, including Al Simmons, Jim Downing, Violator, Gunslinger Spawn, Medieval Spawn, Jessica Priest, and Ninja Spawn among others.
This is a raw, ungraded copy in first printing. The Cover M designation is confirmed by the 17-digit barcode.
