Royce Gracie is one of the most consequential figures in combat sports history. His dominant run through the early UFC tournaments, fighting and submitting opponents across multiple weight classes in a single night, did more to introduce Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to a mainstream North American audience than virtually anything before or since. Round 5's UFC Ultimate Collector line was designed specifically to honor fighters at that level, and the Hall of Fame edition figures represent the top tier of that program.
The Hall of Fame edition renders Gracie as a translucent clear sculpt in his gi, fists up, and runs smaller than most of the line's numbered releases: a Limited Edition of just 500, individually numbered on the back panel, with this copy numbered 416. The card back tells the founding story: the undersized, relatively unknown competitor who submitted three opponents in one night at UFC 1 to become the UFC's first champion, ran his streak to eleven straight submission victories, a record that still stands, and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on November 21, 2003.
For collectors of MMA history or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu heritage this is the cornerstone piece of Round 5's Hall of Fame clear-sculpt format. Sealed on card with the hologram sticker on the back panel.
