Ravenous is a horror comic series from Creature Entertainment, an independent publisher built around original horror properties. The series follows werewolves and werewolf hunters, and Creature Entertainment released it with multiple cover variants on each issue. Issue #2 carried several cover designations, and the C cover is a 5-copy retailer incentive, meaning shops had to order five copies of the issue to qualify for a single copy of this cover. That distribution model keeps incentive covers out of the casual pull and into the hands of retailers who committed volume.
The cover art is by Jose Varese, who served as art director for Creature Entertainment and contributed cover and interior work across the Ravenous run. His involvement with the series is consistent across the publisher's output for this title. Writers John Ulloa and Juan Navarro are credited on the series. This is a raw, ungraded copy of a low-print independent horror book with a retailer-gated cover.
