Randy Couture is one of the most decorated fighters in UFC history, a five-time champion across two weight classes and a three-time Heavyweight titleholder whose career defined an era of mixed martial arts. Round 5 built their debut UFC action figure wave around names that carried that weight, and Couture was a natural centerpiece of Series 1 alongside Quinton Jackson, Matt Hughes, and Tito Ortiz. This 6-inch figure captures Couture in his fighting prime and represents the opening chapter of what became a substantial collector program from Round 5.
The World of MMA Champions line was Round 5's first push into MMA figures, launching in 2008 before the company landed the UFC license, and built instead on fighter-brand partnerships; Couture's figure carries Xtreme Couture branding on the trunks and a facsimile signature on the card front. The back panel presents the whole Series 1 lineup trading-card style, with each fighter's style, height, weight, camp, birthday, and hometown, a presentation the later UFC-era cards never repeated.
This copy is the black-trunks chase variant: the standard Series 1 release wears Couture's signature red trunks, while the black version ran in smaller numbers and has become one of the sought-after pulls from the debut wave. For collectors building a Round 5 run, a Series 1 figure is the foundation of the program; the original MSRP was $16.99. Sealed on card.
