HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon Quest Pack, Hasbro '23, Sealed

Rise of the Dread Moon is a standalone quest pack expansion for the Avalon Hill HeroQuest Game System, released in 2023 as part of Hasbro's ongoing revival of the classic dungeon-crawl series. The pack introduces the Knight as a new playable hero and sends a party of two to five adventurers into ten new quests built around the threat of the Dread Moon. Like all HeroQuest expansions in this line, it plugs directly into the existing HeroQuest Game System board and ruleset, extending the base game's campaign without replacing any of its components.

The box comes packed with 29 detailed miniatures, 58 game cards, 2 mirror stands, a quest book, a cardboard title sheet, and a game guide. The miniature count alone makes this a meaningful haul for collectors who paint or display HeroQuest figures alongside the base set. The quest book's 10 scenarios carry their own narrative arc, giving veteran HeroQuest groups a fresh run of content well beyond what the core box provides.
