Despite matching Daken blow for blow, Castle's lack of a healing factor proves fatal. Daken methodically dismembers Frank Castle and kicks the pieces off a rooftop. This is the death of the Punisher, directly leading into the FrankenCastle storyline in the subsequent Punisher series.
