VC277 from the 2023 Star Wars Vintage Collection, a Target exclusive repaint of the 2021 TVC Boba Fett (VC186) base sculpt. The paint scheme is inspired by the cover of Marvel Star Wars #42 (1980), which depicts Boba Fett's first comic appearance in Empire Strikes Back-era colors — a vivid bright green armor with bold comic-art shading that gives the helmet a striking cel-shaded optical illusion effect. The paint applications are considered exceptional, with Hasbro's most vibrant and complex Fett deco in the line. Accessories include the ESB-era blaster rifle and Sacros K-11 blaster pistol; collector note: there is no holster on this release because the VC186 base sculpt uses ROTJ-era belt tooling rather than the ESB belt with holster, creating a minor accuracy discrepancy with the source cover art. No soft-goods cape is included, which gives the figure a cleaner display profile than other TVC Fett releases. 30 points of fully premium modern articulation throughout.
