Star Wars Episode I Collection Battle Droid, Dirty Variant, Hasbro '99

Part of the historic Episode I Collection launched at the inaugural Star Wars midnight madness event on May 3rd, 1999, this Battle Droid depicts the Trade Federation's mechanized infantry with a weathered, battle-worn paint deco. Hasbro produced four distinct paint variants of this figure — Clean, Dirty, Shot (blaster scorching), and Sliced (lightsaber damage) — each packaged and sold separately in equal numbers, making the Dirty variant a specific and sought-after version among completionists. Like every figure in the Episode I line, it includes a CommTech chip, which doubles as a figure stand and, when placed in the CommTech Reader (sold separately), plays three audio lines from the film. The blaster rifle fits in the figure's hands.
