Star Wars Saga Collection #073 Labria, Hasbro '06

Figure #073 in The Saga Collection, part of the Walmart exclusive wave — a repaint of the 1998 POTF2 Labria sculpt with significantly improved head paint applications. Labria, a Devaronian whose EU real name is Kardue'sai'Malloc, is a cantina regular in Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley, briefly visible during the famous cantina sequence in A New Hope. A spy and information broker who uses an affected drunken demeanor as cover, he's one of the more distinctive faces in the cantina thanks to his sharp-horned Devaronian appearance. The standout improvement over the original POTF2 release is the head paint: the original suffered from a too-pale complexion and unfortunate gum coloring; this repaint corrects both convincingly. The body is the same dated POTF2 sculpt with its oversized molded plastic cape, which also creates a known balance issue — the cape's bulk makes the figure prone to tipping backward. Includes a display stand and miniature hologram figure.
