Star Wars Saga Collection #054 Chewbacca with C-3PO, Hasbro '06

Figure #054 in The Saga Collection, depicting the Cloud City Capture scene from The Empire Strikes Back — Chewbacca in solitary confinement on Bespin, reassembling the dismantled C-3PO. A repaint of the 2002 SW Cloud City Capture Chewbacca sculpt, this release is widely regarded as one of the better pre-VOTC versions of the character thanks to its accurate scale and strong portrait. The real draw is the C-3PO accessory package: a disassembled C-3PO in three parts (head, torso, and lower body) with a repainted, richer gold deco and a soft-goods cargo net for Chewie to carry the parts. Chewbacca also comes with a blaster pistol. Note that the disassembled C-3PO pieces can be swapped to a better-articulated Chewbacca figure if desired, as the Chewbacca sculpt here has fixed-angle elbows and no waist articulation that limit posing. Includes a display stand and miniature hologram figure.
