Star Wars Saga Collection #027 Holographic Ki Adi Mundi, Hasbro '06

Figure #027 in The Saga Collection's Battle of Coruscant wave, depicting the Cerean Jedi Master as he appears in Revenge of the Sith via holographic transmission to the Jedi Council — reporting on his progress leading a strike team against the droid armies on Mygeeto before Order 66 is executed. The figure is a rework of the 1999 Episode I Ki-Adi-Mundi sculpt, cast entirely in translucent blue plastic with a glittery element that helps it catch light for a convincing hologram effect. Hasbro's holographic blue finish at this point in the line is notably well-executed — the right shade with enough sparkle to sell the effect without being garish. Includes a holographic lightsaber (also translucent blue) and a named display stand. Also includes a miniature good guy hologram figure — making this one of the few figures to come with a hologram inside a hologram. Articulation is minimal by design; fewer visible joints give holographic figures a cleaner appearance.
