Star Wars ROTS General Grievous, Grappling Hook and Launcher, Hasbro '05

From the 2005 Revenge of the Sith Deluxe assortment, this General Grievous is one of the more generously accessorized versions of the character in the ROTS line. The figure features Grievous's signature four-armed configuration and comes loaded with all four lightsabers — two blue and two green — along with a removable cape and collar, a grappling hook launcher, and a firing grappling hook projectile. With 13 points of articulation including hinge-jointed elbows on all four arms, the figure offers more posing range than most of the basic line Grievous releases. The color is notably darker and more battle-worn than the film-accurate creamy tan the character appears in on screen, a result of Hasbro working from pre-final concept art, but the paint application itself is one of the better efforts in the ROTS Deluxe run. A worthwhile Grievous for collectors looking for maximum accessories in a single package.
