Star Wars ROTS Sneak Preview #2 of 4 Tion Medon, Hasbro '05

Figure 2 of 4 in the January 2005 Sneak Preview assortment that gave collectors their first look at the Revenge of the Sith line ahead of the film's April retail launch. Tion Medon is a Pau'an — the tall, pale-skinned species seen briefly in Episode III as the local administrator of Utapau — who secretly tips off Obi-Wan Kenobi to the presence of General Grievous and the Separatist army hiding in the planet's sinkholes. It's a small role with outsized importance to the plot, and the figure captures his distinctive weathered-wood skin texture and towering proportions well. Comes with a staff and a blaster rifle, though the rifle is not seen in his brief on-screen appearance. A collector's note: Tion Medon remains the only figure in the ROTS Sneak Preview quartet never to have been rereleased in any subsequent wave or collection, making this the definitive and only version of the character in the 3.75" basic line.
