Star Wars Episode I Collection Padme Naberrie, Hasbro '99

One of two Padmé figures in the first wave of the Episode I Collection, and a notably clever release given that most fans didn't yet know Padmé and Queen Amidala were the same person when the line launched in May 1999. This figure depicts her in the handmaiden disguise worn throughout the Tatooine sequence, complete with the Pod Race View Screen she uses to watch Anakin compete for his freedom. Her CommTech chip includes lines that subtly reference the deception — an interesting easter egg for fans who caught it before seeing the film. Like every figure in the line, the chip doubles as a display stand and plays audio when placed in the CommTech Reader (sold separately). Collection 1.
