Origin of Dylan Brock. Frankie's Comics store exclusive virgin variant by Lucio Parrillo.
Venom, Vol. 4 #11 arrives deep in Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's celebrated run on the character, the same run that redefined Eddie Brock's mythology for a new generation of readers. This issue carries the origin of Dylan Brock, a foundational story beat in the Cates era that recontextualized Eddie's history and set up threads the run built on for years. Interior art is split between Ryan Stegman and Joshua Cassara, two artists whose work on this run became touchstones for modern Venom visuals.
This copy is the Frankie's Comics Virgin Variant, a store-exclusive edition produced without trade dress, cover logo, or UPC on the front, presenting the cover art unobstructed. Virgin variants from boutique comic shops like Frankie's Comics are produced in limited quantities for the store's customer base and do not see wide distribution through the standard retail channel. The issue's April 2019 cover date places it squarely in the middle of the Cates run's first major arc, a run that generated sustained collector activity across its many variant editions.
