Venom, Vol. 4 #35 is the finale of Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's defining run on the character, an issue that closes out 35 chapters of Venom mythology while centering on one of the run's most significant story events: Dylan Brock becoming Venom. Titled 'Many Venoms,' the issue draws together the symbiote legacy threads Cates had been building since 2018, with the Brock family's relationship to the Venom symbiote arriving at its pivotal turn. It is the capstone of what is widely regarded as the most consequential Venom run of the modern era.
