Star Wars TVC #VC279 Tusken Warrior, Hasbro '23

VC279 from the 2023 Star Wars Vintage Collection, depicting the female Tusken Warrior who trains Boba Fett in the ways of gaderffii combat in The Book of Boba Fett. She is one of the first Tusken Raider characters in Star Wars to be distinguished as an individual female warrior within her tribe, and proves her skills decisively during the clan's attack on the Pyke spice train. An interesting kit-bash: the torso, cod section, arms, and upper legs come from the 2015 TBS Rey (Jakku) Walmart exclusive figure, while the head, lower legs, soft-goods belt, and soft-goods skirt are all-new. The reused slim arm sculpt is the most visible sign of the parts reuse and gives the figure a somewhat spindly silhouette in certain poses. The soft-goods elements — skirt and head wrap layers — are highlights of the figure and blend well with the dark earthy paint scheme. Two accessories: a gaderffi stick (gaffi stick) and a removable shoulder armor piece. The same figure was later included in a Target exclusive deluxe set packed with an all-new articulated Massiff. 26 points of articulation.
