Star Wars Silver Anniversary Han Solo & Chewbacca Death Star Escape, Hasbro '01

Death Star Escape is the Han Solo and Chewbacca entry in Hasbro's Silver Anniversary series, the two-figure dioramas issued for Star Wars' 25th anniversary (1977-2002). The sculpt freezes the hangar escape from the first film: Han firing back with his blaster while Chewbacca covers him with the bowcaster, staged against Millennium Falcon backdrop art on a connected display base.

The Silver Anniversary dioramas sat apart from the basic figure lines: posed statue-style pairs in clear showcase boxes, built for display rather than play. Companion sets in the series include Swing to Freedom and Final Duel. This example is sealed in its showcase box with the silver 1977-2002 medallion on the front and the 10-point Jedi Master Points proof-of-purchase intact on the back.
