Star Wars Saga Collection #068 Combat Engineer Clone Trooper, Hasbro '06

Figure #068 in The Saga Collection, delivering the first super-articulated version of the Combat Engineer Clone Trooper — part of the 38th Armored Division, Combat Engineer Battalion, assigned to support heavy artillery units including HAVw Juggernaut turbo tanks and SPHA-T mobile turbolasers. Like the 442nd and 5th Fleet Security figures from earlier in the line, this battalion originates from concept art created for Revenge of the Sith that was never used in the final film, first appearing in the toy line as a pre-posed debacle in a Walmart DVD exclusive box set. This super-articulated version redeems that release entirely. The sculpt is a kit-bash of the Evolutions Clone Trooper body with the belt from ROTS III-41, topped with a unique removable helmet painted with a distinctive pattern and aged wash. The paint work across the chest and helmet is widely praised as one of the more appealing concept clone decos in the late TSC run. Includes a named display stand (Combat Engineer Trooper) and miniature hologram figure.
