Star Wars Hot Wheels Darth Vader Car, Mattel '14

Debuted at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con alongside the launch of Mattel's first-ever Hot Wheels x Star Wars collaboration, the Darth Vader character car was one of the flagship entries in the line. Designed by Bryan Benedict, the car reimagines Vader as a sinister jet-black supercar with his iconic helmet and mask forming the front fascia, chest armor sculpted across the hood, and lightsaber side trim running along the rocker panels. The Galactic Empire logo is molded into the underside of the car. The character cars are 1:64 scale die-cast, compatible with standard Hot Wheels track, and packaged on the original blue card art that the line launched with in 2014 before the packaging shifted to a numbered black design in 2015. This is the original first-release blue card version.
