The Offworld Jawa is figure #96 in Hasbro's Star Wars The Black Series, released in 2019 as part of the Triple Force Friday wave that introduced product tied to The Mandalorian and The Rise of Skywalker. Jawas have been a fixture of Star Wars since the original film, and this release marks the character's arrival in the 6-inch Black Series format, giving the line's version of the scavenging desert traders the same treatment as the franchise's most prominent heroes and villains.
The figure comes equipped with an ion blaster, a soft goods fabric robe, and a harness with ionization blaster and power pack. The soft goods robe is a practical choice for a character whose silhouette is defined by its hooded cloak, allowing for natural draping and posability that a hard-plastic robe would not achieve. The glowing yellow eyes beneath the hood are rendered cleanly against the dark fabric. This is the standard retail release; a limited First Edition version with white box packaging was also produced, making the two packaging variants distinguishable at a glance on the shelf.
