Rob Liefeld era Image Comics cover.
Brigade Vol. 2 #9 is part of 'Extreme Prejudice,' the crossover event that ran through the Extreme Studios titles in early 1994. This issue is Part 6, titled 'The Crossing,' written by Rob Liefeld and Eric Stephenson with interior art by Marat Mychaels and Marlo Alquiza. The Extreme Prejudice storyline brought together the major characters of the Extreme Studios universe, and Brigade served as one of the central titles in the event.
Brigade was Rob Liefeld's signature team book at Image, starring Battlestone (John Stone), Chapel (Bruce Stinson), Cougar (Daniel Tsuchida), and an ensemble of hard-edged 1990s superhero archetypes. The series ran under the Extreme Studios imprint throughout the early years of Image Comics, and the crossover issues from 1994 represent the line firing on all cylinders, with multiple titles weaving together a single continuous narrative.
