Star Wars The Legacy Collection #BD18 Jodo Kast, Hasbro '08

BD18 from the 2008 Star Wars Legacy Collection blue phase, depicting Jodo Kast, the Mandalorian bounty hunter who impersonates Boba Fett in the Expanded Universe comic "Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction." Sourced directly from that story, Kast exploits Fett's fearsome reputation until the real Boba Fett tracks him down. The figure is a rework of the 2006 TSC Boba Fett (SAGA 006) sculpt, repainted in Jodo Kast's distinctive yellow and green Mandalorian armor. Two known collector issues worth noting. First, the jetpack action feature causes both arms to swing when the rocket is pressed, leaving the shoulder joints loose and making it difficult for the figure to hold the blaster rifle convincingly. Second, the TSC Boba Fett base sculpt has visible peg holes on the back of the shoulders where Boba's cape originally attached; these are uncovered on Jodo Kast and give the impression of missing accessories. The helmet is not removable, though the rangefinder is. A 2010 Kmart exclusive re-release used a superior super-articulated sculpt. Includes Droid Factory Build A Droid part (5D6-RA7).
