Spawn Series 2 Chapel, McFarlane Toys '95

Part of McFarlane Toys' landmark Spawn Series 2 line from 1995, Chapel is one of the most significant figures in the early run — he's the assassin who killed Al Simmons, setting the entire Spawn saga in motion. Originally created by Rob Liefeld for Youngblood, Chapel crossed over into the Spawn universe as the man Jason Wynn ordered to eliminate Simmons. The figure captures Chapel's skull-faced mercenary design with the obsessive detail McFarlane Toys became famous for in the mid-90s: individually painted spikes and hardware, a menacing facial sculpt, and a full complement of military accessories. A cornerstone piece for any serious Spawn toy collection.
