Danger Girl #1 is the debut of J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell's breakout spy-action series, launched under the Cliffhanger imprint at Image Comics. A Bond-meets-Indiana Jones adventure with a female-led cast, the story follows outlaw archaeologist Abbey Chase as she's recruited by the mysterious Deuce into Operation Danger Girl, a covert team of elite female agents including Sydney Savage and Natalia Kassle. Issue #1, "Dangerously Yours," opens in medias res with Abbey in a high-speed chase against villain Donavin Conrad over a priceless skull, before pulling back to reveal how she ended up there and how she came to join the team. The Another Universe variant cover features artwork adapted from the original 1997 San Diego Comic-Con Danger Girl promotional poster. This copy has been signed by the creative trio of J. Scott Campbell (plot/pencils), Andy Hartnell (script), and Alex Garner (inks).
