Star Wars Saga Collection #039 Chief Chirpa, Hasbro '06

Figure #039 in The Saga Collection's Battle of Endor wave — and a landmark release in the history of Ewok figures. Chief Chirpa is the wise gray-furred leader of the Bright Tree Village tribe on Endor's forest moon, first seen in Return of the Jedi accepting the Rebel strike team into his clan. This all-new sculpt reset the standard for Ewok figures entirely: properly scaled to the 3.75" line for the first time, beautifully detailed with alternating browns, grays, and whites in the fur, and loaded with the most articulation ever given to an Ewok figure at that point. The removable headdress is a highlight — ornately decorated with animal teeth, rings, and small adornments that accurately mirror what's seen on screen. The swivel wrists (a first for an Ewok figure) allow for natural staff-holding poses. Includes a display stand and miniature hologram figure, standard to all The Saga Collection basic releases.
