Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda #1, Marvel '19

Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda #1 launches the first solo series for T'Challa's hand-picked covert team, spun directly out of Jason Aaron's Avengers run. Operating from a Wakandan helicarrier, the Agents handle the threats too weird, too secretive, or too dangerous for conventional heroes. Part 1 of the "Eye of the Storm" arc opens with Wasp and Man-Wolf shutting down a gang of tech-thieves called the Scavengers in Miami, before the full team regroups for a mission to a small town in Oklahoma. What they find there is far deadlier than a simple disturbance, ending in a jaw-dropping cliffhanger involving the Sentry and the Void. Writer Jim Zub describes the series as "Kirby-fueled Mission: Impossible in the Marvel Universe," and Lan Medina's art brings exactly that energy to the page.
