KEY ISSUE: Savage Dragon Vol. 2 #4 features the first appearances of Horridus (Sara Hill), Rapture (Sharona Jackson), and Cesspool. Dragon and the Chicago police investigate a disturbance and discover a spike-covered freak in a basement — bringing Horridus into the fold and setting the stage for the formation of Freak Force. Meanwhile, Barbaric joins the force, Cesspool makes his debut, and Dragon ends his relationship with Angela. The issue includes a Rapture & Ricochet flip-book backup written by Erik Larsen with art by Adam Hughes, inked by Karl Kesel. This copy has been signed by Adam Hughes, who contributed interior art to the flip-book backup.
