This 1995 Collectors Gift Set pairs two of the most visually striking figures from McFarlane Toys' Spawn line: the repaint Medieval Spawn and the towering demon lord Malebolgia. Medieval Spawn reimagines Al Simmons' alter ego as a heavily armored knight, all chains, cape, and gothic plate, while Malebolgia is the ruler of the eighth circle of Hell and the villain behind Spawn's origin, rendered here in the grotesque, maximalist detail that defined early McFarlane production. The pairing is deliberate: these two characters share one of the most consequential relationships in the Spawn mythology, and releasing them together as a set gave collectors a self-contained piece of that story.

McFarlane Toys was redefining what mass-market action figures could look like in the mid-1990s, and the Spawn Ultra-Action Figures Series 3 era sits squarely at the peak of that early period.
